A retirement gift from the family!

I was blessed to have had a wonderful aviation career.  Officially retired in 2007.  Had the honor of working for the USAF, Cessna Aircraft Company, Western Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and Boeing.

Heavy metal experience:  C-141, B707, B720, B-727/100-200, B-737/100-200, B-747/100-200-400, B-757, B-777, A-330.

In 2012 I founded the ROTC Pilot Indoctrination Program to support the ROTC programs at San Diego State University and the University of San Diego.  RPIP is a program designed to prepare USAF and USN candidates selected for either a pilot, combat systems officer, or remotely piloted aircraft slot, to meet the challenges of military flight training.  We are proud to say that 100% of our graduates successfully completed their respective service's initial flight screening program.  In 2016, I stepped aside and passed the mentorship torch on to the next generation of volunteer instructors.

T-37 Flight Sim
Back in the days when I could fit in a flight suit! A friend from college visiting me at Craig AFB, Selma Alabama, in the T-37 sim. Jim is now a retired Captain from Ozark/TWA.

Now on to ham radio @ 100W!
