The term Silent Key refers to those amateur radio operators who have passed from this earth. It dates back to to a time when all ham radio communications were performed through the use of a telegraph key used to send Morse code. It is still used today, always in a respectful and endearing way.
The table below lists our members who are now Silent Keys. We honor them, their military achievements, and their contributions to aviation, amateur radio and to this club.
