•   Retired in 2002 after 33 years as an automotive business owner and operator. 

•   Hosted several non-syndicated Automotive Clinic series on radio, TV and newspaper.

•   Was an active member in several local, regional and national service programs.

•   Legal background as a civil case mediator for Fort Worth for a few years.

•   Private pilot and ham radio operator.

•   The photo at right is of Rick and his wife Sherry Gail.  They celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage in 2019.
